DAWN SALTER

Gentle Trauma Therapy & Mental Health Support
MPHyp MNLP SQHP

I offer Gentle Trauma Therapy and mental health support with a difference: we work together, at your pace, engaging with your felt sense, meaning that this is more than a talking therapy; it is an embodied, inner-relational approach. My gentle somatic and psychosensory therapy draws upon Polyvagal theory and can help you release past trauma, access embodied states of safety, stability and resourcefulness. In combination with my Beyond Mindfulness, trauma-safe, self-help methods, this gentle but powerful therapy can facilitate a shift in states of anxiety and depression, supporting healing and recovery over time.

I offer integrative psychotherapeutic counselling. This is counselling that is adaptable to all sorts of issues, and integrates several different techniques and theories, as people aren’t ‘one size fits all’. I’ve worked in mental health for several years in different roles, settings and with different client groups, and the past few years as a counsellor at various agencies. In counselling I provide a space to explore your thoughts and feelings so together we can move forwards to where you want to be.

NEIL PHIPPS

Integrative Counsellor

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

I am a dedicated, passionate Counsellor, with a long-standing interest in the human experience, and how we navigate difficult periods of our lives. My four years of study helped me reflect on my own difficulties whilst honing my counselling skills.

I’m often described as a ‘good listener’ - someone who genuinely wants to help people having a tough time. Experience at The Samaritans enabled me to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, supporting callers in extreme distress.

I work with a wide range of presentations (Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, etc) with the capacity to extend into other areas.
