Gentle Trauma Therapy & Mental Health Support

I offer Gentle Trauma Therapy and mental health support with a difference: we work together, at your pace, engaging with your embodied experience, meaning that this is more than a talking therapy. My gentle approach to somatic and psychosensory therapy can help you release past trauma, access embodied states of safety stability and resourcefulness. In combination with my Beyond Mindfulness, trauma-safe, self-help methods, this gentle but power therapy can facilitate a shift in states of anxiety and depression, supporting healing and recovery over time.

I offer integrative psychotherapeutic counselling. This is counselling that is adaptable to all sorts of issues, and integrates several different techniques and theories, as people aren’t ‘one size fits all’. I’ve worked in mental health for several years in different roles, settings and with different client groups, and the past few years as a counsellor at various agencies. In counselling I provide a space to explore your thoughts and feelings so together we can move forwards to where you want to be.

Certified Play Therapist
B.ed (Hons)

I am a certified play therapist offering individual or group sessions for primary age children.

1 in 8 children have a diagnosable mental health problem which can significantly impact on the academic progress and wellbeing.

Play therapy is one of the few proven mental health interventions for children at primary level.

I provide a safe and consistent environment for the child, developing a trusting relationship where the child feels able to explore and process their emotions.

I work with non directive techniques taking my lead from the child.
